Lemongrass
Lemongrass bewitches us with its fragrance originating from Indonesia. Nicknamed " Indian verbena ", lemongrass has a powerful lemon scent that is wonderful in cooking and in infusions.
Its medicinal properties have been known since antiquity and are still used in phytotherapy against fevers, pains, flu-like conditions or stress. Research has also shown that lemongrass helps lower blood sugar levels.
Lemongrass infusion is prepared with 15 g of fresh leaves for 1 L of water and must be filtered carefully to avoid the presence of filaments.
