Curry leaves

Reputed to come from distant lands because its origin is in Western Asia, it is now found mainly in India, Thailand, Malaysia and, since 1828, date of the immigration of Indian workers, on Reunion Island and Mauritius. This tree can measure between 4 and 10 meters high and its small white flowers pleasantly scent its surroundings.

It is in the salty that the curry expresses the best the richness of its flavours: Meats, fishes, eggs, soups or fried vegetables, gratins, cakes...

Lamb curry, chicken curry, fish curry... so many tasty dishes can be made with this typical mixture. The curry also expresses very well the richness of its aromas with fresh cream, in fish or mussel soup, with fish and shellfish, white meats, potatoes, rice, pasta, omelets, mayonnaise, egg casserole.

It also goes well with vegetables or fruits.
