- 600 g ground meat (for 4 to 5 people)
- 20 mint leaves
- 10 leaves of coriander
- 2 eggs
- 50 g dry bread or breadcrumbs
- 2 spoonfuls of milk
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 white onion
- ½ spoonful of ground cumin
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- Soak the crumbled bread in the milk.
- Chop the mint and coriander leaves.
- Finely chop garlic cloves and onion.
- Place the meat in a container and add the beaten eggs, bread, mint and coriander, garlic, onion, cumin, salt and pepper. Knead the mixture until it is very homogeneous.
- Shape into compact balls about 4 cm in diameter and thread them onto skewers in groups of 2 or 3.
The cooking can be done on an oiled plancha or in a frying pan. Serve with a light yogurt sauce.
