Minced meat skewers with peppermint and coriander

  • 600 g ground meat (for 4 to 5 people)
  • 20 mint leaves
  • 10 leaves of coriander
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g dry bread or breadcrumbs
  • 2 spoonfuls of milk
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 white onion
  • ½ spoonful of ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  1. Soak the crumbled bread in the milk.
  2. Chop the mint and coriander leaves.
  3. Finely chop garlic cloves and onion.
  4. Place the meat in a container and add the beaten eggs, bread, mint and coriander, garlic, onion, cumin, salt and pepper. Knead the mixture until it is very homogeneous.
  5. Shape into compact balls about 4 cm in diameter and thread them onto skewers in groups of 2 or 3.

The cooking can be done on an oiled plancha or in a frying pan. Serve with a light yogurt sauce.
