Lamb chops in a herb crust

  • 8 Lamb chops
  • 5 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons chopped basil
  • 2 large cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper, olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 210 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, drizzle olive oil. Add the thyme leaves (without stems), chopped parsley and basil, garlic and breadcrumbs. Add salt and pepper and mix.
  3. Massage the chops with this preparation.
  4. Lightly oil an ovenproof dish, place the chops in it and put them in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes depending on the thickness of the chops. Remember to turn them over halfway through the cooking time.
  5. After removing from oven, cover with aluminum foil and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
