Rosemary

Rosemary, whose Latin name (ros marinus) means "dew of the sea", is a shrub of Mediterranean origin that has spread to northern Europe as far as England.

Rosemary, which contains powerful antioxidants, is a formidable weapon against many of life's ills. It not only reduces the risk of kidney stones, prevents rheumatism and insomnia, but also fights against intellectual overwork.

In the kitchen, rosemary is a friend of meats and poultry. It flavors lamb wonderfully, sauce bases and broths. It brings a touch of originality to crème brûlées or vanilla custards, puddings or apricot jams.
